Retailing is an ever-changing landscape. It's competitive, it's challenging and two days are never the same. My client has grown from a small family business into a national retail chain and they are still expanding.

My client is now looking for a graduate to work in a specialist role within a busy personnel and payroll administration team servicing over 700 employees in multiple locations.

Working closely with the Payroll and Personnel Manager your primary responsibility will be to administer key departmental systems and ensure all relevant records are accurate and up to date. The role will be varied, covering areas such as new starter and leaver processes, time and attendance, tax forms, and communication with employees and line managers to ensure compliance. This would be a great next step for someone who wants to get into a position within HR and have broad exposure.

Competencies to include:

- At least six months experience of payroll processes, but no need to be an expert at all!
- Good knowledge of general personnel practices.
- You will have a great eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- You will also be quick to learn and implement systems, rules and procedures and be flexible to support the team as necessary.
