Based in the UK, our client has a first class reputation as a developer and licensor of chemical process technologies used by clients throughout the world.

The role will include:

- Thermal Design: The design and specification of fired and high temperature equipment
- Mechanical Design: The design of specific components within fired or high temperature equipment
- Thermal and mechanical design of shell and tube heat exchangers
- Design of Reactors and other Pressure System Equipment
- Use of FEA CFD technique to aid design evaluation
- Drafting: Preparation of Design Drawing in 2D AutoCAD and 3D Inventor
- Procurement: Prepare requisition documentation and technically review potential suppliers bids
- To understand and use international codes and standards in the design and specification of equipment

Essential skills:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with an interest in fluid mechanics or heat transfer and their application to equipment design
- Experience with FEACFD software
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D Inventor or similar systems
