My client designs and manufactures a wide range of automotive parts. They are at the forefront of designing innovative products and are seen as a global leader in their field having over 100,000 staff operating in over 30 countries.

They offer a two year development programme; the first 6 month placement will be within their advanced engineering group working on improvements to the performance of the next generation of diesel injectors destined for the heavy truck market. This product will come to market in the next 6 months and represents an exciting time to join and work on a tangible project from day one.

Requirements:

-Minimum B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering with a 2:1 Honours Degree classification
-Demonstrated team player with the ability to also work independently
-Effectively communicate with people of all levels in the business
-Innovative and structured approach to problem solving
-Keen interest and desire to learn and develop
-Ability to work effectively under pressure
-Determination and self-motivation to achieve goals
