An opportunity has arisen to join the organisation as a Marketing Assistant. This role will see you join the UK Marketing and Business Development team. You will support the planning and implementation of UK and European marketing initiatives as well as providing assistance to overseas offices when required.
Initially this role will focus very much on supporting the Marketing and Business Development Managers. There will be a number of administrative tasks however you will be able to take ownership and responsibility for specific areas. In time the role will evolve to a more senior position and you will also be able to study towards the CIM qualification.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with promoting the company to raise the brand profile through advertising, events and exhibitions
- Assist with client and market research
- Help to manage key supplier relationships
- Support and assist with global marketing projects
- Manage the events diary and organise staff attendance at sporting, business and marketing events
- Procedural and technical support for internal CRM systems.
The above is just a selection of the areas you will be exposed to. This will be a varied role that will allow you to gain all of the experience required to have a long and successful career in Marketing.
We will consider applications from candidates with an excellent academic track record. You do not have to have studied a marketing degree, however you must be able to demonstrate a clear interest in this area. In addition candidates must:
- Have achieved a 2:1 in the undergraduate degree with high level of performances at A-level, or equivalent
- Have excellent communication skills with the ability to team members, Staff and Partners at all levels
- Have the ability to build relationships with individuals from all hierarchal levels across multiple countries and time zones
- Be highly organised and proactive
- Be a team player
- Have excellent project management skills and attention to detail
- Be able to analyse information and summarise results in a way that will help the business
