Job Title: Graduate Marketing Assistant

The Graduate Recruitment Bureau (GRB) is an expanding specialist recruitment consultancy based in Brighton. As our name suggests we specialise in placing graduates across a range of industries and vertical markets across the UK. We have become extremely successful in this sector with our web site attracting 80,000 unique visits every month and a candidate database of over 400,000. The consultants have developed expertise in their relevant markets and with a large candidate database have a strong supply of candidates for their clients.

Overall purpose of the post
You will play a key role in providing candidate and employer marketing management and support for the GRB. You will assist the Senior Marketing Executive in implementing marketing and communications plans in order to attract and retain a growing and diverse audience of students and graduates. In doing so you will be helping start the careers of thousands of talented UK graduates every year.

Main activities and duties

1. Student Brand Manager (SBM) recruitment and performance management
You will be responsible for a nationwide promotional team of SBMs across 24 Universities throughout the academic year; recruiting trainee SBMs; monitoring their performance plus motivating and encouraging them to reach set targets. This would all be managed through in house web metrics and regular phone, email and occasional face to face contact at campus events.

2. Digital Marketing
This will involve elements of SEOSEM; content writing; email marketing, social media and developing our community of graduate job seekers using our website grb.uk.com whilst maintaining our user friendly and well-designed web platform on a day-to-day basis.

3. On Campus Events
During the summer and mainly the autumn you will be required to visit up to 24 Universities representing GRB at Fresher's fairs and Careers Fairs. This is a key marketing activity where we meet and introduce students and graduates to our services. You'd be involved in the planning, organising, booking and budgeting of each event with the objective of registering our target amount of students and graduates.

4. Campaign Fulfillment
From time-to-time you will help design and implement our client's graduate recruitment advertising campaigns on our website and through email. This would involve using Dreamweaver, Photoshop and our in house systems to deliver exceptional results for our client's projects on time and within budget.

Essential Skills:

- Plenty of get up and go with a can-do attitude.
- Innovative thinker with a passion for the internet and web technologies and their use in business.
- Above average IT literacy particularly Dreamweaver, HTML and Photoshop.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate confidently with students, graduates and professionals.
- Outgoing, confident individual at ease with public speaking.
- Excellent organisational skills, in particular the ability to work on a number of different projects concurrently and the ability to prioritise and manage competing priorities.
- Professional written communication style.
- Confident motorway driver with driving licence!
