Job Title: Graduate Market Analyst

A market leading player in online and offline automotive media.



My client requires a Data Analyst to work within the Market Intelligence Team, looking predominantly at web metrics in order to:

- Identify trends
- Interpret what this means for the business and their customers
- Provide strategic insight for other teams within the company and their business customers

On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:

- Using data accessed from the internal data warehouse and external sources to produce regular reports and analysis on key trends such as market share and return on investment
- Analysing and manipulating market data across both product and customer base
- Providing both internal teams and external business customers with access to insight into trends via web tools and reporting, plus answers to queries on particular areas where insight is required
- Understanding the impact of tactical campaigns on response

You will provide data processing, analysis and reporting for the Sales and Product teams. With a proactive approach you will help maintain a clear understanding of response metrics and our performance on those metrics relative to the market and competitors.

In this role you will need to be very good with numbers, highly analytical with a good knowledge of Excel and Access as well as understanding commercial business issues.

Requirements:

- Minimum degree 2.1 in Maths, Business, Business Information, Economics or related
- Highly numerical with a statistical background
- Proven data analysis skills
- Good computing skills including a strong grasp of Excel and Access
- Excellent communication skills.
