My client, a niche management consultancy, provides strategic advice to leading financial services organisations and banks, both in the UK and Europe. They combine exceptional, specialist market knowledge with an innovative, fresh approach.
Due to recent growth, my client is seeking two Graduate Consulting Analysts. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist and growing consultancy. You will gain exposure to both Directors and clients, allowing you to develop unparalleled knowledge of the financial services and banking industries. The company provides intensive on the job training and brilliant opportunities for progression and development.
This challenging role will involve:
- Simultaneously working on a variety of client projects
- Conducting analysis and research on banking and financial services across both the UK and European markets
- Specific research into product and service innovations, launches and developments (eg ApplePay) in the industry
- Doing more specific research into a client's performance and products to identify strategic growth opportunities allowing them to maximise customer value and ensure sustained growth
- Writing reports, creating presentations and delivering back to Directors and eventually clients
- The opportunity to travel with Directors on client visits, both nationally and internationally
The package is excellent and includes a £25k salary with a competitive performance based bonus. You will also be given a Mac laptop and a mobile phone.
Requirements:
- Excellent academics with a minimum 2:1 level degree.
- Hard-working, ambitious and driven to succeed in a consulting environment
- Highly personable; mature communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently but in a problem-solving, team oriented environment
- Commercial, able to understand financial services
- Pragmatic and logical with a good head for numbers, able to spot trends in data
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly PowerPoint and Excel)
- Language skills are desirable but not essential
- Available to interview at the beginning of November 2014 with a view to starting in December
