My client is a leading organisation in the financial services industry. They are behind pioneering initiatives that aim to enhance the financial services sector.

An opportunity has arisen to join the company on their IT Development Programme. This business focussed IT programme will offer successful incumbents the opportunity to work as Business Analysts and Project Managers once they have completed their training.

You will gain an invaluable insight into the complex, diverse and continually evolving financial services sector. You will be given responsibility from day 1 and you will be immersed in business critical projects as you rotate through different areas of the business. It is expected that you will be able to gain an understanding of the entire spectrum of financial services, from complex derivative instruments through to currencies, commodities, asset management and insurance.

You will also be offered the opportunity to work towards professional qualifications such as Prince2 and ITIL, and you will develop your career within a structure environment and obtain recognised accreditation within your chosen specialist area.

Rotations may include:

- Business Analysis Group
- Design Delivery and Integration
- Tech Ops
- Project Management Group
- Vendor Management
- Enterprise Architecture

You may also be offered the chance to go on secondment during one of your rotations.

In order to apply candidates must have a demonstrable interest in IT but do not necessarily have to have studied an IT related degree.

It is essential that you are analytical and results driven with an interest in compliance and regulation. You will also have excellent teamwork skills, be commercially aware and be able to develop effective relationships with colleagues and clients alike.

Candidates must also:

- Have achieved or be on course for a 2.1 in their undergraduate degree
- Have a demonstrable interest in problem solving
- Be highly analytical
- Possess excellent communication skills - both written and oral.
- Be fluent in English
- Possess high levels of drive and determination
