Our client provides marking and printing solutions, and is a leader within their field.
Our client is now looking for a graduate to work as a Technical Product Engineer, in an international role. In this role you will provide technical support and assistance to our client's product channels. The role is office based, but with extensive travel overseas.
Key responsibilities to include:
- Taking the technical lead in project teams for the release of our client's new products, tools and processes to ensure on time delivery of new products
- Providing coaching and technical support to the service channel in a timely and professional manner
- Developing a strong relationship with Distributors and Distributor Managers
- Acting as an interface between customers and engineering to resolve technical or quality issues
- Acting as an early warning system for quality problems
- Investigating the causes of failure of units and parts returned for analysis
Essential skills for the role to include:
- At least a 2.2 or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physical Sciences or related
- Exposure to an engineering environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer focused
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Sense of urgency
- Quality focused
