Job Title: Graduate Insight Analyst

My client is a world leading retailer offering a diverse service to their customers.

The Operations Insight Team helps to improve the way in which my client operates in the UK. The successful graduate will liaise with a variety of teams across the business to develop and deliver operational improvements by analysing issues, shaping solutions and supporting their implementation to make core processes better, simpler and more profitable.

The primary responsibility of this role is analysing and developing solutions for operational problems. The main activities are:

- To break down large quantities of data from several systems.
- To process and model this information to lead to implementation of operational improvements

Analysts will also be expected to spend some time working and supporting the implementation of change. Analysts should deal with many areas of the UK business and to people of all levels, so it is important that they are comfortable presenting to and interacting with more senior employees.

Requirements:

- High analytical capability
- Notions of modelling
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Advanced MS Excel
- Experience in data mining (advantageous)
- VBA and SQL programming (advantageous)

Analysts should work with little supervision and consistently produce accurate and timely results.
