This engineering consultancy works globally with a range of companies across multiple sectors, helping them achieve efficiency led growth and an increase in profits. They do this by utilising the vast engineering expertise of their consultants to collate and communicate solutions in the form of business plans that can be swiftly implemented. They are one of the most ambitious consultancies of their kind, achieving 40% growth year on year and with a huge push on graduate recruitment for top engineering talent. This company is going places and will take you with them.
Due to growth, a unique position has opened up within the company to work on projects related to their "knowledge management function". This bright and capable graduate will be helping to drive forward the "knowledge map" project and help start new projects related to business knowledge and data to optimise and improve the existing intranet.
Responsibilities will include;
- Assessing current status of knowledge projects and developing plans to drive these forward.
- Meeting, communicating and presenting internally to the company and senior staff members.
- Keeping of data and existing "knowledge" so to be accessible and up to date.
- Working on the company's intranet and "knowledge system" to optimise and make more efficient for operational consultants.
This role is a 6 month contract, with the opportunity for a permanent role at the end of this. They are looking for an intelligent and outgoing candidate who can think innovatively, communicate effectively and maintain excellent organisation. You will be working alongside senior staff members of this exciting company and gaining great business exposure whilst improving how the company operates.
Requirements:
Degree (2:1 or equivalent) open on background from a Top 40 University
Strong IT Skills and interest to work on new systems or similar intranet systems
Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communication and present.
