This highly successful consultancy is looking for a number of ambitious Civil Engineers to join their Transportation teams and work on remarkable projects worth millions. As either a fresh graduate starting your career or an experienced graduate looking for a new adventure, you'll be involved in some of the biggest infrastructure projects across the United Kingdom's road networks.
The Glasgow, Edinburgh, Leeds and Solihull offices are looking for dynamic individuals to reach chartered status and help make history on the UK's roads and motorways.
As a Graduate Highways Engineer you will work alongside a Principal Engineer producing detailed highway design works including:
- Drainage design
- Road geometry design
- Road pavement design and assessment
- Ancillary design (road markings, traffic signs, safety barriers)

You will be part of a thriving team with ambition. The perfect candidate must have:
- A Civil Engineering degree, ideally M.Eng level
- Strong UCAS points, ideally A's and B's, or equivalent
- A confident and hardworking nature
- A clear interest in transportation or highways design
Desired skills:
- Industry experience gained through a placement year, internship or work undertaken since leaving university
- Experience in a design office or on highways schemes
- Knowledge of MX or WinDES design software
- Knowledge of the UK DMRB design standards
