My client is a health consultancy.
As a successful health consultancy, they work with pharmaceutical companies, the NHS and smaller bio companies. They specialise in market access, health economics and evidence based medicine.
They are looking for a Maths or Statistics graduate who has a passion for modelling and ideally would have completed a module in medical statistics or mathematical biology. This position starts in summer 2015.
This exciting position offers great career progression and an excellent package. The successful graduate will be given the opportunity to study part time for an MSc degree in Health Economics (course beginning October 2015).
Key responsibilities:
- Involvement in the research and development of proposals, data collection and analysis
- Development of health models, including cost-effectiveness models
- Write up methods and results of models developed
- Assist in client meetings and teleconferences
- Communicating with the Project Lead and liaising with internal departments
Essential skills:
- A First class undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics or related
- A high level of numeracy with initiative and problem-solving ability
- Ideally a module in Mathematical Biology or Medical Statistics
- A team player with a high level of self-motivation and a positive 'can-do' attitude
- Strong Excel skills
