My client is a niche consultancy providing contaminated land management, brownfield regeneration and geo technical design services. They pride themselves with a highly knowledgeable workforce, along with a flexible and varied approach, which allows them to take on a wide range of projects. They are a proactive small team of consultants offering a fantastic level of service to their clients.
This role is your opportunity to join a growing company and make your mark. You will be able to progress quickly if you prove yourself and you will be working on client projects from day one.
On a day to day basis you can expect to get involved with the following activities:
- Desk based research
- Conducting or supervising site investigation and monitoring surveys
- Data interpretation
- Factual and interpretative report writing
- Communicating with clients, regulators and sub-contractors.
You will undergo a two month training period and benefit from a mentor during this time to ensure you have a smooth transition into the role.
To be considered you must possess:
- A degree in Geology or Environmental Engineering (Other degree backgrounds may be considered if you have a relevant Master's)
- A full and ideally clean driving licence
- A mature outlook and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- It is also desirable for you to have some on-site industry experience
