A Forensic accountancy practice that operate around the globe.
The role of a forensic accountant is to investigate cases or disputes of a corporate and financial nature. You will gain the experience and knowledge required to provide high level insight and analysis to allow the disputes to reach a satisfactory outcome.
Joining the organisation as a trainee, the role will see you interpreting and analysing financial data to build conclusions and gain insight into the performance of different businesses over a set period. This will involve in-depth analysis of different types of historical data in order to calculate projections as to how the output of a business would vary in the future dependent on various external sources. You will then share your findings with clients and colleagues alike through presentations and meetings.
This role will also offer you the chance to work towards a professional qualification such as the ACA or CIMA, so you must be committed to a long term career within accountancy or financial management.
In order to apply it is essential that candidates have:
- Achieved or be on course for a 2:1 (or equivalent) in their undergraduate degree
- High grades at A level (or equivalent) scoring a minimum 320 UCAS points
- Exceptional communication skills - both written and oral
- Knowledge of data analysis and interpretation
- A passion for problem solving
- An ability to challenge information and not take things at face value
- A clear understanding of Accounting and Financial principles with a motivation to work towards professional qualifications.
- The desire and flexibility to travel for work projects when required
