Job Title: Graduate Financial Recruitment Consultant - London

Since its inception in 2003 this specialist city recruitment company has experienced phenomenal growth, which they put down to a strategy of hiring the best recruitment consultants on the market. In 2009 they were listed in the Sunday Times Virgin Fast track 100 for the third year in a row and are projecting huge growth again in their key recruitment markets within finance, professional services and management consulting.

The role is initially candidate-focused, which means that you will spend the first 6-12 months of your career sourcing executives within the financial or consulting fields. You will do this via networking and headhunting methods as well as utilising the company database. The positions you will be looking to fill will be paying the candidates from £60k up to six and even seven-figure sums. As you build up your recruitment skills and your market-knowledge you will move into a more client-facing role of Recruitment Consultant, where you will be looking to sell the company's services, develop relationships with a number of key clients and look after their recruitment needs.

The role initially pays £20k and you earn commission for each placement made. Typically you should be looking to earn in excess of £35k in your first year. When you progress to a full consultant role your pay increases and your commission is far greater. Further progression through the company is based entirely on merit.

You must be educated to degree level and have a strong record within sales-based environments. This is a consultative sales role therefore we are looking for those with polished and clear levels of communication.
