Job Title: Graduate Financial Assistant

This financial recruitment specialist - based in central Brighton - was launched at the end of 2009 and have already enjoyed great success, taking advantage of an upturn in demand for contract staffing within the financial services sector. They have an ambitious growth strategy which includes hiring a mixture of graduates and experienced consultants.

Our client is looking to recruit a Graduate Financial Assistant. You will be working as part of the finance team, a critical part of our clients service and significant contributor to the effectiveness of their brand.

As part of the role you will be fully supported through a Professional Finance Qualification, such as CIMA.

Duties and responsibilities to include:

- all aspects of cash management
- invoice and expenses processing
- production of monthly reports
- continuous improvement
- market awareness and business intelligence

Essential skills for the role to include:

- At least a 2.2 or above in Finance, Accountancy, Business or related
- Flexible approach and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- A self-starter with the ability to hit the ground running
- Knowledge of the Financial Services industry
