Our client is the UK base of their German parent company and they employ 60 people. They specialise in manufacturing and distributing components for industrial sectors, these include sensors, networking and control technology for automation. They have a strong client base and are leaders within their field, developing and producing a wide range of products and systems. They cover all sectors of manufacturing including food and beverage, automotive, utilities and general manufacturing.
This is a proactive role involving visiting clients and providing training on products and system solutions. As well as cross selling the company's products and services in the mobile industry, you will work closely with clients to outline, create and commission application software solutions. Furthermore, you will be programming, powering-up and demonstrating products during the client visits. The role is 80% technical and 20% sales and includes national and international travel. There will be around 1-2 overnight stays per week (40-80 per year).
Essential skills include:
- Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related (2.2 minimum)
- Experience in C++
- Driving licence
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to resolve issues
- Confident at working under pressure and problem solving
