A major global player in the field of financial and professional services executive search. Comprising over 120 consultants across three continents, they are also one of the largest firms in this specialist sector.
Following a recent merger with a very successful Brighton-based executive search firm, this company now have a wealth of expertise in recruiting for all front, middle and back office functions within finance.
The graduate role within this business is that of a Researcher. You will be responsible for a wide range of duties to support two of the company directors who specialise in winning and filling exclusive assignments within the recruitment of Risk Management professionals. This is a particularly buoyant industry to recruit within given the recent need for financial institutions to monitor and assess potential investments and to hire the best candidates possible to do so. Your mentor will be one of the directors who has 12 years of experience within the field and experience in training graduates.
Duties include:
- Providing key market information ahead of client presentation
- Consultation of role specification and key targets
- Research, sourcing and identification of potential candidates through desk research, telephone research and networking
- Initial approaches to ascertain candidate interest and to generate long lists of targets with CVs and appraisals
- Sitting in on interviews with candidates on the short list and consulting with team members to establish leading candidate(s)
- Undertaking reference checking
The position is vacant for the Brighton office however you will be required to work in the London office intermittently. The basic salary is £20k with bonuses based on successful contributions. The earning potential for year one exceeds £30k.
We will only accept those with a minimum degree level of 2.1 from a top university and A's and B's at A-level.
