My client is a highly-respected, dynamic conference company based in central London.

My client is looking to recruit an Event Coordinator to join a busy team of event organisers, responsible for the logistics and delivery of commercial conferences annually.

The role of the Event Coordinator involves the day to day liaison with clients and the implementation of all aspects of each event, to include the organisation of dinners, drinks receptions, exhibitions and branding packages.

The Event Coordinator will also be responsible for liaising with the event speakers to ensure they?re prepared for the event, sourcing and managing suppliers and the on-the-day delivery of the event, including all onsite logistics and liaison with all conference speakers, sponsors and the management of the onsite team.

This role will suit someone with outstanding organisation skills with a passion for delivering well organised business events whilst remaining focussed on excellent customer service and profitability.

This position would be perfect for a recent graduate looking to establish themselves within the events industry. Experience of working in an office environment would be an advantage.

The essential skills are as follows

- Minimum 2.1 degree in History, English, Philosophy, Politics or related
- Outstanding organisation and admin skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to find common sense solutions to problems
- A genuine interest in organizing business events
- A positive and flexible outlook
- Superb attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken English

The role involves managing the logistics of 10?14 conferences per year in addition to other pieces of event management. It's highly likely that some overseas travel may be required.
