My client is a long established successful company and are a leader of actuated valve development. They provide a full service from initial advice and planning to design and implementation and after care support.

The overall purpose of this job is to bridge the engineering workshop and the sales team. You will be involved in all aspects of the company from initial concept, design, manufacturing and administration to engaging with suppliers and customers.

This will involve you being a fantastic project manager, overseeing the whole process and problem solving across all departments. You will also be able to get involved in the technical side of the company by being involved in the design aspect.

Key duties include; reviewing, planning and supervising workflow, engaging with the suppliers, sales team, workshop and progress teams, and finally the customer to ensure on time and in full delivery.

You will be putting this into practice on individual products as well as major projects.

Requirements:

- Firstly you will be a strong communicator with excellent communication skills
- Degree qualified in Mechanical engineering with a minimum of a 2:2
- Ability to project manage
- Good business acumen
- Knowledge of CAD and CAM
- Ideally an understanding of valve and actuation
