Our client are specialists within the automotive industry, and work with component suppliers to improve their product development. They work throughout the UK and Europe, and provide excellent opportunities for working in Europe.

The role is challenging and varied. It is set within, but certainly not limited to, an Engineering environment and compromises elements of Data management, Project management and Business administration. The team you will join look at all areas of the business (mainly focused around the management of a program's Early Bill of Material), identify areas of inefficiency, and develop and implement solutions for improvement. They are also the primary representatives for Europe when aligning Global Processes, Methods and Tools.

Key duties:

- Work with minimal guidance to understand complex problems.
- Project manage multiple cross-functional, global projects.
- Develop new ideas to offer options for process, methods and tool improvements.
- Develop material to gain buy-in to improvement ideas at all levels of the organisation.
- Deploy improvements into the organisation, sell new concepts to Engineers and provide on-going training and guidance.

These positions will commence in early April 2010. We have muliple positions in Essex and one position in Germany.

Key requirements:

- To hold a minimum of a 2:1 in an Engineering, Science, Maths, Physics or related discipline.
- Excellent spoken English (German is not required for any roles).
- Strong communication skills as the role has management consultancy elements.
- An interest in the automotive sector.
- To be able to start work in early April.
