My client is a giant in the beverages industry. They have a huge brand name and are a major player in the domestic market as well as being part of an impressive global company. They employ several hundred people at their site in Yorkshire and over 30,000 people globally.
You will join as a Manufacturing Coordinator which will give you an excellent grounding in the business. During your first year you will spend time in all functions within operations enabling you to gain a valuable insight into how the business works. The second year will be more focussed on manufacturing project activity. This will involve you working within one specific manufacturing area, delivering on key projects and gaining an in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing process. As you learn about operations, at the end of the second year you will have the opportunity to move into a manufacturing management role.
Essential skills include:
- A minimum of a 2:2 degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related
- Self motivation
- An interest in developing and leading people
- A passion to learn and develop yourself
- A 'work hard, play hard' attitude
