My client is one of the UK's leading providers of systems and engineering technology within the defence, nuclear, power and energy, civil aerospace, rail, marine, petrochemical and industrial sectors.
My client operates from 8 offices across England and Scotland. Their main graduate intake is into their offices in Bristol, Burton, Dorking, Glasgow and Warrington although other offices are available.
You will be working within a technical group providing consultancy services to a range of different clients. This will be either individually or as part of a project team. The role will involve utilising and developing a range of skills within the following areas:
- Technical
- Project and planning
- Commercial awareness
- Environmental
You'll be spending two to three days per week out on client sites, analysing supply chain and operational process issues. Within your first year, you'll have full project responsibility, typically beginning by working on projects worth £10-20k. My client's management style is 'hands-off' so you must feel comfortable with working independently and taking on project responsibility.
*PLEASE NOTE: In this role you will be working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer. You must be able to prove you have a genuine interest in engineering through work experience, university modules etc. in order to be considered for this role.*

Requirements:
- To be expecting a 2.1 in Mechanical Engineering
- To have attended a Top 40 UK university
- To have a minimum of ABB at A-level
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
- Eligiblity for UK Security Clearance (You must hold a British passport and have lived in the UK for 5 years)
- Flexibility to travel to client sites
