Job Title: Graduate Engineer Renewable Energy

My client is a major player in renewable energy.

You will be working for a large generator of purely renewable power, operating a growing portfolio of landfill gas (LFG), onshore wind and hydro plants across the UK. The work will involve utilising your technical experience to not only generate green energy but to also ensure that you aid the fight against global warming through exemplary control of greenhouse gases. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company in helping to shape the way the country produces power.

As a Graduate Control and Instrumentation (CandI) Engineer you'll have the chance to learn on the job as part of an expert team, working with an internal mentor with substantial experience who will supervise your ongoing training and professional development. You'll work with some of the best people, resources and systems in the business. The role will involve maintaining SCADA systems; contributing to a variety of Control and Instrumentation projects; and tackling workflow planning and reporting. This is a two year graduate position with opportunities for career development beyond this.

Essential skills for the role:

- To hold a minimum of a 2.2 degree in a field related to Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or Automation
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Team player, as you will be working in the projects team
- Enthusiasm to work in the renewable energy industry
- To hold a full UK driving licence
- Flexible attitude to work locations, as you will be required to travel to any of the 100+ sites
