My client specialises in taking an idea from concept through to production. They work across a range of engineering sectors including electronics, software, mechanics and ergonomics.
You will be passionate about creating innovative electronic circuit designs for various products designed, engineered and prototyped in-house. You have an innate extreme attention to details and are very familiar with Altium Designer. You continuously improve yourself on a technical front and have strong analytical skills as well as a very creative streak. You might be developing electronic circuits in your own time (as this is not just a job for you but a passion). You can also demonstrate innovative design and development skills.
Essential skills for the role include:
- Degree (1st or 2:1) in Electronics Engineering or Embedded Systems Engineering
- Strong knowledge of Altium Designer (schematic capture, PCB layout, programming background on IPhone and Mac platforms)
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems design, analogue, digital and mixed signal
- Excellent ability to read and understand components datasheets
- Strong knowledge of EMCESD techniques and lownoise design
- A broad knowledge of hardware design and development, covering a range of different types of technologies and sensors.
- Very well organized and have very strong analytical thinking abilities
- Experience in embedded software development would be an advantage
