This company is at the cutting edge of hybrid systems, working with some of the biggest companies in the automotive industry from their high tech engineering centre.
They offer services to their high profile clients from running projects from initial specification, through to modelling and simulation, mechanical and electronic design, and prototype production.
This role focuses on designing and redesigning electrical and electronic systems within world leading technology. You'll be responsible for dealing with the power electronics within the motor systems. This research and development will be essential to the company's progression and ability to stay at the forefront of the industry.
Due to the size of the company, you will have great responsibilities from day one and the chance to get involved with every aspect of the business. You will also have the great opportunity to develop your skills in this fast paced, exciting engineering environment.
You'll be kept on your toes at all times and all training will be provided through on the job mentoring, provided either by the Director or the other Senior Engineers in the team.
Requirements:
- A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of power electronics
- Highly motivated and a self-starter
- Full driving licence
Desired skills:
- Hands on experience from university projects or professional experience
- Understanding of vehicles or motors
- Access to own vehicle
