My client is the one of the fastest growing private companies in the UK. They are an international firm having offices in nine countries. As well as providing financial information they develop products and solutions for Investment Banks.
This is a brilliant opportunity for enthusiastic Economics graduates to get a foot in the door in a hugely successful economic business consultancy. Their independent services and reports are used by over 1,300 financial institutions around the world and are often quoted in the press.
As an entry-level Economist, you will be responsible for a portfolio of existing and new products and reports and be accountable for the production, maintenance and development of these product lines. As you become more confident interpreting data and constructing economic reports, you will be expected to handle client, subscriber and press enquiries.
Whilst not preparing monthly reports you will be responsible for developing new product lines, producing supporting information and further research your target countries or regions.
This role would suit an ambitious all-round graduate with great team working skills in a role with excellent salary, career progression and training.
Requirements:
- 2:1 or above in Economics or a subject with a strong economics weighted component
- Highly desirable is a Postgraduate qualification in Economics or related
- Good A Levels
- A real enthusiasm for economics with the desire to forge a career as an Economist
- Highly analytical and able to interpret and draw conclusions from data
- Flexible
- Self-motivation
- Good IT skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Excellent English language writing and communication skills
- High attention to detail and skills at prioritising your workload
