The company is located in Central London and is a well respected Economic Consultancy. They also provide specialised publications on Foreign Exchange Forecasts and Energy and Metal price forecasts.
Our client is looking for an Economics degree graduate to write country analysis and develop data as an Assistant Editor for some of their nine periodicals. Any experience you have in research, economics, computing or statistics would be extremely useful for the post, as is your ability to write clearly and concisely in English for a non-specialist audience.
You should live in or around the London area (within an easily commutable distance) or be prepared to relocate. You should be comfortable using Microsoft Office packages, in particular Excel and Word, and additional software skills would be advantageous.
The company can offer a good salary and bonus system. The ideal applicant should feel at home working in a quiet, research-based London company that is the world leader in economic survey analysis and publishing
You should have an interest in economics beyond having done a degree and possess an attention to detail and the ability to work with data. You should have good writing skills as well as good MS office skills, especially in Excel.
Either a background in English (e.g. English A Level) or strong background in research (maybe some publishing or journalism work) would be helpful.
