My client is a well known utilites firm within the FTSE100.

Customer Insight is a central team within Marketing that works across all areas of the company. They are very much a growing team and deliver a wide range of services to their customers across the organisation including Campaign Management, Customer Analysis and Modelling.

In this position you will be responsible for the delivery and interpretation of econometric models to assist the business with media accountability and business strategy. You will be responsible for all aspects of the model building process. This includes liaising with colleagues to identify what data is required and collecting this information, building the models and interpretation of the model output. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

- You will be responsible for the building and interpretation of Econometric models for each business unit.
- You will be required to liaise with colleagues across the business to determine project objectives and data requirements to assist with specific business questions.
- Assist with the development of the current econometric capability suggesting where developments can be made.
- Support the Econometric Modelling Manager in analysis and presentations to help further integrate the econometrics team in the strategic decision making of the business.

The essential skills for this role are as follows:

- Minimum 2.1 Econometrics, Economics, Statistics or related degree.
- Highly numerate individual, preferably a graduate in Statistics or other numerate discipline.
- Excellent data interpretation skills, including data manipulation and analysis techniques.
- Good communication, presentation, explanation and influencing skills.
- Experience of a modelling package such as Eviews or STATA also beneficial.
