My client is one of the most highly respected and largest high quality kitchen providers in the UK. Their stunning ranges include bespoke bathrooms and bedrooms. Operating from their large facility based on the South Coast this firm is a fantastic employer that can offer a long term career.
This role is a new position available due to the company expanding and taking on new large projects. As a Graduate Designer you will be extensively involved in designing bespoke furniture and kitchen ranges for a variety of customers. You will also hold other responsibilities such as project managing and providing quotations with design layouts for perspective customers.
Requirements:
-Qualified to degree level in a design focused degree. Ideally you will have obtained a 2:1 or higher but other relevant experience with a 2:2 will be considered.
-Excellent communicator both verbally and written
-Excellent team player with the ability to liaise with all areas of a business
-Skilled in using CAD software and experienced in using this to design produces. Ideally you will have used Planit or 20:20 but this is not a necessity.
-Very proficient with all Microsoft Office programmes as you would be using these extensively
-Good with numbers and comfortable when quoting large figures to customers
-Ideally you will have some experience of kitchen or furniture design and understand functionality as well as appearance
