I'm seeking a strong Analyst to work as part of a team. The successful graduate will be responsible for helping to draw insight into company data and to help improve the efficiency of their supply chain. The role is highly analytical and much of the work focuses on improving systems or processes. You will be responsible for the researching and reporting of key indicators within the business.
The work is high-profile and gives you the opportunity to swiftly deliver significant benefits to the business.
Through your analytical skills, you will provide understanding of the root causes behind problems or observed patterns.
The department is not an IT department and doesn't provide applications to the business. However as part of your analysis, modelling and monitoring work you will often need to create a program to automate repetitive tasks or to do large scale number crunching.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a 2:1 degree in a Numerical, Science or Engineering based subject
- 300 UCAS points from your top 3 A-levels or equivalent
- Evidence of having used analytical skills and ideally evidence of managing large amounts of data
- Strong communication skills to liaise and advise across the business
- It will be advantageous if you can demonstrate experience in data modelling (Excel), programming (SQL or Visual Basic) or statistical analysis (SAS, STATA).
Start date - ASAP or up to September.
