Job Title: Graduate Credit Risk Analyst - Immediate Start

Our client is a major player in the financial services sector and is one of the largest mortgage and savings providers in the UK.

An urgent need for an analytical graduate. This is an opportunity to really use your statistical and analytical skills within a major UK banking group.

Role:

- Develop industry leading Credit Risk modelling and forecasting solutions.
- Become an active member of the Modelling and Analytics team, ensuring that Decision Sciences build industry leading credit risk modelling and forecasting methodologies.
- To communicate and work with business stakeholders and to deliver against agreed plans.

Academic Requirements:

- A good degree (2:1 minimum) in a quantitative discipline like Maths, Statistics, Operational Research or Economics
- A Level Maths at grade B or higher.

Technical Skills:

- Experience of data analysis and application of statistical techniques (e.g. linear regression, hypothesis testing, etc.)
- Some practical experience using statistical packages such a SAS, R, Stata, S-PLUS, SPSS, Matlab etc
- Ideally some experience with data manipulation tools like SQL
- Proficient in MS Excel
