As a world leading Engineering company in design, manufacture and installation within a niche sector they are an excellent employer. Their clients are mainly within the food and pharmaceutical industries and unique expertise and experience allows this company to take control of this market. Their machinery is advanced, complex automated machinery involved in packaging, handling and labelling.
As a recent Law graduate, you will be using your skills within a fast paced, commercial setting. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding commercial contracts that they enter into with their customers (be this Europe or UK based)
- Assessing potential risks of contracts and conveying this
- Taking into account elements of confidentiality and IP for the business, financial elements of the contract, the company's position as a supplier of goods and services and the commercial differences of the contract when dealing with different countries
- Helping and assisting with contracts from other areas of the business.
Requirements:
- You will hold or be expecting a degree in Law from a top 40 UK University (2:1 minimum)
- Good understanding of contract law gained through your degree
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Desire to apply your skills within a global manufacturing company
- The ideal candidate will set themselves apart from others through involvement in extra-curricular activities
- Additional language skills are an advantage
