This company is the UK's leading specialist Business, Analytical and IT consultancy, they employ over 1500 people. Their portfolio of clients covers diverse areas such as National Security and the Public Sector, through to commercial industries such as Telecommunications, Utilities and Pharmaceuticals. Their services include business consulting, software and hardware development, technical consultancy and complex data analytics work.

These roles are available in Surrey and London. This is a largely office based role with lots of client contact over the phone. It will also involve an element of customer support, and technical graduates with a passion for exceeding customer expectations are in demand for this role.

As a Managed Services Consultant you will be involved in a wide variety of projects. This will give you a taste of many of the areas in which the company operates so you can decide the direction you want your career to take, from Project Management through to Technical Development.

You'll be involved in the entire lifecycle of projects, from gathering information on clients' requirements to creating, testing and implementing solutions. You'll contribute to a number of client projects at any one time in the following areas:

-Diagnosis and resolution of technical support issues in a range of client critical software applications, involving bug determination and fixing.
-Development of application enhancements.
-Contribute to client service documentation and reviews, sometimes on client site.
-Share knowledge with colleagues and assist team members with their objectives.
-Participate in 'go-live' of software applications to ensure effective implementation of ongoing support services.
-Provide cover as part of the 24 hour, 7 days a week call out rota with other members of the team (after qualification period). An on-call payment will be offered for this.

You'll have a strong affinity for technology but will also have an in-depth understanding of how it can improve business performance. You'll also need the drive to be client facing from the start.

Initially, your career will include learning about and using new technologies, data analysis and modelling, before you choose your specialism. If you have a numerate or scientific degree, excellent communication and team working skills, and a passion for analysing and problem solving, this could prove a fascinating career for you.

Curious and keen to learn, you'll be someone who can quickly absorb new information. And as you'll be part of a friendly and diverse environment, you should also enjoy interacting with different kinds of people.
