My client is an engineering consultancy. They work globally, hands-on with forward thinking companies to improve operational processes and supply chains.
The key part of the role is to provide operational improvement in two to six months without any capital expenditure. You will be required to travel and work across Germany and can be based either in Germany or in the UK. It is important for you to have strong communication skills and to be comfortable talking to senior members of staff.
You will play a pivotal role in your team and will get real responsibility from a very early stage. Although the role will involve lots of travelling and working on client sites you will work as part of a team and must be comfortable working in a team environment.
My client offers:
- £24.5k basic salary
- £5k car allowance a year
- Profit share which is typically £6.5k
Outside of work there is a healthy social life with company paid for events organised every quarter which have previously included rock climbing, attending a festival, surfing and skiing. There is also a Christmas and summer event.
Key requirements for the role include:
- To speak German at fluent, native level
- To hold or be expecting a minimum of a 2:1 in an Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or related discipline
- Strong technical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable talking to senior people
- Potential ability to mentor, motivate and develop client teams
- To be felxible with regards to working hours and to be geographically mobile
- To be outgoing and have demonstrable outside interests
