Job Title: Graduate Conference Producer

My client is a dedicated sustainable events company, covering Biofuels Markets, Carbon Markets, Renewable Energy and Corporate Climate Response. They work across the globe and recent events include Brussels, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Budapest, New Your, Sao Paolo, Cape Town, Singapore and Chicago.

My client is looking for a highly academic graduate to join their fast growing team of Conference Researchers. The role involves research and production of strategic business conferences for the renewable energy and climate change sectors.

It will give you the opportunity to develop your research, communication and project management skills. You will also gain an in depth view of the industry sector you are working in and develop strong commercial awareness and business knowledge.

Responsibilities include researching publications, websites and other sources to gain insight into a particular topic. Once you have a good knowledge of the subject area you will use the research to put together a conference, liaising with the marketing and event coordinator teams as well as working with speakers and clients. The job will require some travel.

The essential skills for the role are as follows:

-An excellent academic record (2.1 or above only)
-Outstanding communication skills are essential
-Excellent research skills
-Commercially aware
-The successful candidate will be analytical and self motivated, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
