My client is a global leader in integrated media. They organise world leading conferences for a wide range of sectors.
They are looking for a highly academic graduate to join their fast growing team of Conference Producers. The role involves research and production of strategic business conferences across the biomedical and energy sector.
It will give you the opportunity to develop your research, communication and project management skills, as well as giving you an in-depth view of the industry sectors you are working in and helping you develop strong commercial awareness and business knowledge.
You will take responsibility for your own conference from day one. This includes researching publications, websites and other sources to gain knowledge in a particular topic. Once you have a good knowledge of the subject area you will use the research to put together a conference, liaising with the marketing, sponsorship and event management teams as well as working with speakers and clients and hosting it on the day.
The successful candidate will be analytical and self motivated, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team. An excellent academic record (2.1 or above only) and outstanding communication skills are essential. No experience necessary.
