Covering a wide range of sectors, this conference and communications company design and deliver conferences, webinars, reports and surveys on a B2B level.
Do you have a keen interest in current affairs? Are you good at communicating complex information both verbally and in writing?
The successful graduate will be responsible for the research and development of four to five strategic, business-to-business conferences per year. The role will involve extensive face-to-face and telephone research with key contacts, analysis of relevant markets, and liaising with senior-level speakers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct research projects and competitor analysis to assess whether a conference topic is commercially viable
- Communicate with key industry personnel and senior decision-makers to identify relevant commercial issues
- Coordinate and finalise a highly topical and pertinent agenda
- Identify and secure key speakers, including CEOs and Ministers
- Work closely with the sponsorship and marketing teams to maximise and delegate revenue for the conference
- Produce promotional copy for the conference brochure
- Co-ordinate efforts with the event management team to ensure exceptional delivery on the day
- Network and build strong relationships with key industry figures
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2:1 in your chosen degree discipline from a top 20 university and AAB (or equivalent) at A Level
- Superb communication skills and the ability to build successful working relationships
- Enthusiastic, positive and highly motivated individual
- Ability to communicate with company directors, politicians and senior staff
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Great attention to detail
- A positive attitude and plenty of enthusiasm
