My client is a global business media company.
The key objective of the role is to develop commercially viable conferences based on in-depth market research. You will become a specialist in your sector and you will work on an exciting portfolio of events.
My client is looking for a graduate with at least six months experience in a commercial setting e.g. recruitment, sales, B2B research, conferencing or related. The ideal candidate will have a high level of commercial awareness and be target driven. There is fantastic career progression for high flyers wotj a real 'work-hard play-hard' ethos.
Key responsibilities include:
-Research and Analysis - in depth phone based research of key subject areas and hot topics
-Speaker Acquisition - selecting, sourcing and securing the participation of high level industry leading speakers
-Copy Writing - writing brochure, direct mail and email copy
-Portfolio Development - generating commercially viable topics
-Project Management - helping to drive other project teams such as marketing and events to deliver to deadline
-Onsite Delivery - all on-site execution of conferences
*This is an immediate start position*
Requirements:
-2:1 or above in your chosen discipline
-Strong A Levels
-6 months minimum experience in a commercial environment
-Strong commercial awareness
-Superb communication skills
-Enthusiastic, target driven and motivated
