Job Title: Graduate Commercial Scheme

My client is a multinational with their headquarters in mainland Europe. They employ over 50,000 people and operate in over 70 countries worldwide. They have steadily expanded over the past few years and have ambitious growth plans. They supply speciality chemicals for both retail and trade customers.

This position is to join the sales team on a two year bespoke Graduate Development programme, starting in September 2011. You will gain experience of account management and category management as you are developed into a future Sales Manager or Director. Your individual programme will be unique, defined by your role and supported by your ambition and motivation. The sales team is at the leading edge of the business and key to driving future growth. You will deal with accounts at all levels, from the UK's largest retailers to trade distributors and local retailers. From an early stage in your career you will manage a portfolio of accounts and will take responsibility for developing customer relationships.

Key to your success will be your ability to develop a network of contacts across the commercial team including Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance.

Requirements:

- To hold or be expecting a minimum of a 2.1
- 280 UCAS points
- To hold a full driving licence
- Strong commercial awareness
- Ability to build strong customer relationships
- Fluent in English
