With over 550 employees in their UK and Japanese headquarters, the company have a global presence in over 30 countries spanning Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Within this two year rotational scheme, you will be given the opportunity to work on a range of engineering projects of approximately 3-4 months in length, providing you with broad exposure to all business areas.
Projects will provide experience within design, manufacture and installation of equipment, in addition to placements within supply chain and sales. As a market leader with headquarters around the globe, you will be given the exciting opportunity to travel and to work on a range of projects at international level.
On completion of this two year scheme, you will have the freedom and flexibility to take your career in a direction of your choice, whether this be in manufacturing, design or project management.
The training provided is highly tailored to your individual needs through a Personal Development Programme. You are the future talent of the business and the company understands an investment in your personal and professional development is essential to achieve results.
Within the first 4 weeks, training is focused on getting to know the business through an intense induction period. Following this, you will start your rotations within each department working on a range of projects. At the end of each rotation, you will have performance reviews with a mentor to assess your progress and to develop targeted learning objectives for the next project.
Requirements:
- 2:1 Degree from a top 40 UK University in any Engineering degree, ideally with a business or commercial focus.
- Strong A levels preferably AAB (or equivalent)
- An industrial placement year is ideal; this can be taken as several 3 or 6 months periods.
- Excellent communication skills with team spirit.
- Analytical skills.
- A positive attitude to work and an outgoing, active nature will fit this business.
- Extra-curricular involvement will be an advantage.
- Drive and determination.
- Flexibility to relocate and travel with work.
