This business are world leaders in the field of industrial burner design and manufacture and are also part of a larger global group. They offer complete solutions to combustion requirements from standard burners to individually engineered options.
As a Graduate Commercial Engineer you will be working directly with the Sales Manager on exhibitions, conferences and marketing projects as well as daily client correspondence. As the 'go-to' person for client contact you will be responsible for providing pre- and after-sales advice as well as building long term, mutually beneficial relationships.
You will be expected to spend a substantial amount of time out of the office, meeting with clients and discussing their requirements. Some clients are based overseas meaning you will have the fantastic opportunity to travel and meet with them during certain times of the year.
Key Accountabilities:
- Providing technical support and product education for clients
- Researching the market to maximise client potential in desired regions
- Building long-term, exclusive relationships with clients
- Giving technical presentations demonstrating that your product best meets their needs in terms of quality, pricing and delivery
- Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports
- Managing company website and creating marketing material to draw in new business
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related (2:2)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Interest in Sales and Marketing
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good organisational skills
