Job Title: Graduate Commercial Development Programme

My client is in the business of the production of flexible packaging for a wide variety of industries, from tobacco to cosmetic products. They are experts in the whole of the production phase of the products including artwork design, printing and dispatch. With over 60 years of experience in the industry they are able to offer a consistently high quality of service to their clients.

An exciting opportunity exists within the Tobacco Europe Division. This role will offer exposure to purchasing, sales and costing. In this role you will join the business and work through the graduate development programme. In addition to this you will work on ad-hoc one off projects which will be business oriented in both the purchasing and the commercial divisions.

As part of the scheme you will be expected to:

- Gain an understanding of the business costing system
- Conduct analysis
- Undertake purchasing research
- Setting up and maintaining a procurement database
- Maintaining monthly reports and conducting sales analysis.

This role will suit a graduate who is looking to gain commercial experience, knowledge of international procurement and trade and who has an interest in commodities.

- Have achieved or be on course for a 2.1 in their undergraduate degree
- Possess excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Have a keen eye for detail
