Based in the UK, our client has a first class reputation as a developer and licensor of chemical process technologies used by clients throughout the world.
My client's business provides a real opportunity for graduates to utilise their chemical engineering skills.
Their Chemical Engineers develop flow schemes, data sheets, piping and instrumentation diagrams, etc, which allow a client to engineer, procure and construct (EPC) a process plant. The production of this documentation is carried out in project teams working to a budget and schedule. During the EPC stage, their chemical engineers review the detailed engineering for compliance with process requirements which involves travel to client and contractor offices, and the plant construction site. Following plant construction, Chemical Engineers are assigned to site to ensure that the plant is successfully commissioned
As a graduate Chemical Engineer you will join the company's accredited training programmes. If you have achieved a First or 2.1 MEng degree in Chemical Engineering, are ambitious and self-motivated, keen to improve your engineering skills and develop your management potential, my client can offer you an exciting and stimulating career
In return, you will be offered a fast track route to Chartered status, a dynamic team working environment, international projects utilising leading edge technology and individual performance to be recognised and rewarded.
Chemical Engineering Graduates are recruited annually to join the company's IChemE accredited training programme. As members of project and development teams graduates will be given unique opportunities to use and develop their chemical engineering skills, to build on the academic knowledge gained at University and quickly gain the competences needed for Institution Corporate membership. Opportunities to travel are frequent whether for client meetings or to site for the duration of a plant startup. The aim is career progression to senior engineer status and work activities are reinforced with formal training.
