Job Title: Graduate Buyer and Marketeer

My client has a strong brand with an amazing legacy and some fantastic products and services to get your teeth into. They have 450 stores across the UK and Republic of Ireland, which makes it one of the largest non-food retailers in the country. They differentiate themselves from their competitors through their national store portfolio, broad product range, competitive pricing, customer service and strong brands.

This is a very exciting role for a graduate with some previous experience in buying, marketing or product development wishing to develop their career within buying and marketing. The successful graduate will play a pivotal role within the organisation, and will have a direct impact on store profitability.

Responsibilities include:

- Source products from a variety of suppliers
- Plan and implement the promotional calendar with the aim of maximising sales
- Develop a clear understanding of consumer trends across all stores
- Ensure customer expectations are achieved through product range, value and service
- Analyse category performance
- Monitor and report market share and produce recommendations
- Provide product sales analysis
- Communicate with stores 'Launch Documentation'
- Review store POS
- Maintain store incentive programmes

Requirements:

- A 2.1 or above in your chosen degree discipline
- Highly analytical
- Natural numeric ability
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent commercial awareness
- Project management skills
- Experience within a Buying, Marketing or Product Development role is essential if you wish to apply for this role.
