This company is the UK's leading specialist Business, Analytical and IT consultancy, they employ over 1500 people. Their portfolio of clients covers diverse areas such as National Security and the Public Sector, through to commercial industries such as Telecommunications, Utilities and Pharmaceuticals. Their services include business consulting, software and hardware development, technical consultancy and complex data analytics work.
My client is looking to hire a recent graduate to become a Business Process Consultant. Although based in Guildford you will be expected to travel throughout the UK to the client's other offices. You need to be happy to travel as part of your role.
Job Overview:
- To act as a point of contact for business process related issues,
- To review the application of business processes,
- To provide advice and practical guidance on business process issues.
You will report to the Head of Quality and will assist in ensuring that business processes are implemented and maintained. You will also assist in the completion of the six monthly operational assurance statements.
Day to day duties are going to be varied but will include:
- Ensuring that the business processes are implemented and maintained to meet the business requirements.
- Assisting in the completion of the six monthly operation assurance statement.
- Conducting analysis of current business process performance to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Determining process objectives along with process owners.
- Compiling and maintaining business owner process lists.
- Proactively assisting staff in improving business processes.
- Ensuring that the processes meet external standards to which the business is certificated or is obliged to meet.
- Producing a report on activities past and planned to the Head of Quality on a monthly and exceptional basis.
- Producing reports and analysis of business process performance.
- Provide support to staff in terms of helping with business process related aspects of proposals.
Requirements:
- 2.1 or higher in a relevant degree, such as Business or Management.
- You should have a good eye for detail and an analytical mind.
- Any experience in or studying of business processes or quality would be highly advantageous.
