Job Title: Graduate Business Manager

My client is an award winning family run bakery. It produces and sells a range of cooked products such as breads, cakes, confectionary and pasties. These are sold both retail and wholesale to large hotels and restaurants.

As well as working for the client, you will be supported and working alongside an entrepreneurial university.

Our client is looking for a graduate to implement a strategic review of their business.

You will be looking at optimising current business through marketing strategy, business systems and all aspects of their food production process.

You will also be looking at new product development, introducing new Marketing and Quality Management Systems, implementing cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Essential skills for the role include:
- 2.1 or above in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Nutrition, Hospitality Management or similar
- Previous work experience in food manufacturing, food retail or a hospitality management environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to think analytically

Desirable skills for the role include:
- Knowledge of food marketing, new product development or supply chain management
- An understanding of supply chain management, quality control and food safety
