My client is a successful facilities management company operating across the whole of the UK
I am looking for a highly ambitious graduate for an exciting role within this successful facilities management company who boast a diverse client base. JOB SUMMARY:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for all pre sales activity and supporting the Sales team. You will understand the sales process and the company?s offering.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research:
- Identifying potential opportunities
- Identifying key decision makers within target businesses
- Providing contact details for key decision makers
- Providing an overview of potential clients business and structure
- Research on target markets and territories
- Developing competitor analysis
Contact Management:
- Ensuring that the database information is accurate and updated
Business Development:
-Cold calling prospective clients
-Appointment setting
-Developing new business presentations
Teamwork:
-Contribute to induction and training of other team members
Other:
-Attending industry events and tradeshows
-Developing networks with potential clients including agencies and direct advertisers
-Assisting the marketing team with new business projects
Commission and Progression:
Commission will be awarded on a case by case basis due to the nature of the role; it will depend on whether you bring in a one off contract or a lucrative deal with a new ongoing client, but the scope to earn is huge. Ideally you will be hoping to earn between £50-80,000 in your first year or so with designs of becoming a Business Development Director, heading up a team and earning a 6 figure salary.
