A construction and maintenance firm based between Reading and Oxford. They have 20+ years experience in delivering on timely projects within budget across the private sector, public sector, social housing and within building services.
The job is to identify sales leads, pitch goods and services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.
This role revolves around good communication work in your duties will include:
- Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
- Planning and preparing presentations
- Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
- Overseeing the development of marketing literature
- Writing reports
- Providing management with feedback
You'll be required to spend a large amount of time visiting clients and attending networking events.
This job requires a lot of creative thinking to spot new opportunities and to establish rapid growth within the new market place and it?s very satisfying when the development strategy pays off and the results can be clearly seen.
This job is not for the shy, retiring types as you?ll need self-confidence, a love networking and enjoy presenting.
Essential Skills:
- A degree in a construction related background (other degrees will be considered but an interest in construction - will need to be evident)
- To have a driving licence, your own car and be happy to travel (expenses paid)
- An academic background or work experience in construction
- A hard working attitude
- A 'people person' who is happy to speak to possible clients either over the phone or in person
- IT literate
- Happy to be based in the Berkshire and Oxfordshire area
